Building Resilience through DRR: On the Ground in Asia and Africa
Lessons Learned on Strengthening Governance and Market Systems
Join us to discover the lessons Mercy Corps practitioners are learning about building resilience through a range of our programs in Africa and Asia.
Through an engaging mix of presentations, panel discussions and an interactive exercise, explore practical ways to operationalize resilience strategies. We’ll discuss assessment and design approaches; measurement and learning; and implementation successes and challenges. Our field and technical staff will share the experiences and tools that have helped us adopt a resilience approach—in partnership with government and local market actors—across different contexts, systems and scales.
